Buggy-Bike wants to export
Specialized for over 35 years in the work of the tube and mechanical welding, CHALAND-Palmieri diversifies his ATW for the disabled.
Buggy-bike, all-terrain wheelchair (ATW), enables disabled people to discover or rediscover the nature and outdoor sports. With a frame made entirely in Savoie and mounted locally, it is available in a standalone version and an electric version of downhill approved for use the lifts.
Export development
On the southern part of France, Buggy-Bike is distributed live by CHALAND-Palmieri. To the north and export (Italy, Norway, Switzerland), distributors were recruited. Germany and Belgium are the next destinations referred.
Reduce its dependence on outsourcing
Sold to individuals, committees and disabled sports associations, the Buggy-Bike now represents 10-15% of the turnover of barge Palmieri. It allows the family business to mitigate its position to its principals dependence (automotive manufacturers, oil manufacturers, paramedical, fluid transport …).”
